(Stir-Fried Morning Glory with Garlic & Chili)
Ingredients (serves 2):
- 1 bunch morning glory (water spinach) – cut into 2-inch pieces
- 3 cloves garlic – minced
- 1-2 red chilies – sliced (adjust to spice preference)
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (or soy sauce for vegetarian)
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp fish sauce (or salt to taste)
- ½ tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions:
1️⃣ Prep: Wash and cut morning glory, separating stems (they take longer to cook).
2️⃣ Stir-fry: Heat oil in a wok/pan on high. Add garlic and chilies, stir until fragrant (~20 sec).
3️⃣ Cook stems first: Add the thicker stems, stir-fry for 1 min.
